Hailing all the way from Japan with outlets in Singapore, South Korea, China and now Malaysia, Hoshino Coffee as its name implies specialises in coffee- hand drip coffee particularly. While that does not appeal to a non-coffee person like me, what drew me to this place was its food. The location of this restaurant is actually in the middle of Gardens and Mid Valley where Tim Ho Wan previously was before it closed down (no surprise there with such a limited menu and crappy taste). The coffee machine! This place is not suitable for big groups as you can see from the picture above. Seating is "cubicle style" which accommodates 2 people only. They do have bigger tables but those are very limited in quantity. What's this called : Hoshino Pot-Baked Curry Rice with Chicken What's in it : Similar to those char-chan-teng cheese baked rice but with added Japanese curry, broccoli, chicken, onsen egg, and sausages.
